Just a few weeks on from being heavily linked with a transfer to Bundesliga title holders Bayern Munich, England international defender Walker has penned fresh terms at the Etihad Stadium taking him through to 2026.

City teased that agreement on their social media accounts in a video that allowed Walker to turn his hand to acting. Taking inspiration from the famous scene in The Wolf of Wall Street movie in which DiCaprio’s character, Jordan Belfort, reveals to his stockbroking colleagues that he will not be walking away from his role, Walker bellows “I’m not leaving” – sparking wild scenes of celebration among his team-mates.

The Wolf of Wall Street was nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor at the 2014 Oscars, while DiCaprio won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Belfort in the Martin Scorsese-directed biographical comedy crime epic.
